LG G2 is now getting Android Lollipop 5.0.2 update in India

LG G2 Lollipop update

Good news for LG G2 owners in India! The wait for Lollipop update is over, as you can now update your phone to the latest Android version. It is official that Android Lollipop update is available for LG G2 D802 now in India. Unfortunately the update is not rolling out Over The Air (OTA) – rather it is only available via LG PC Suite software. LG G2 has already got Lollipop update in many parts of the world including South Korea, some European countries and US and now its time for India to party. Many websites in India are reporting that Indian variant LG G2 D802 started getting the software update notification on Sunday. The notification says that the update is available but “…installation requires a connection to the PC. Please connect to LG PC Suite to install the update”. So you will have to use the PC Suite software in a Windows PC to update the phone.

For unlocked Indian variant LG G2 D802, the update is sized at around 750MB and bears the version 5.0.2. Build is LRX22G and software version is V30b-ESA-XX.
